Standard Waterproofing, Inc., located in Waterville, Maine, is a women-owned family commercial waterproofing business with a solid work performance history and a commitment to excellence. Our motto--We Set the Standard.

Standard Waterproofing was purchased in 1991 by Tom and Marie Michaud. Theresa Thompson, their daughter, joined the company in 2002 as vice president and has now purchased the company.  Standard Waterproofing stands out as the only female-owned waterproofing contractor in New England and is certified by MaineDOT as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.

As a company familiar with New England's harsh weather, our services significantly help eliminate energy and monetary waste in commercial and residential settings. Our large crew and extensive experience in utilizing the latest waterproofing technology make Standard Waterproofing an excellent choice. Please contact us to discuss your project.

Standard Waterproofing was subcontracted to be part of the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) team to waterproof and help assemble the prefabricated walls for MaineGeneral's $322 million state-of-the-art Alfond Center for Health in Augusta, which has been our largest project to date.
